On May 5, 2015, Five young ladies came up to me while I was substituting and ask me to start a dance team.  This was something that I always wanted to do.  And when I was approached by their vision, which was a dream of mine we all were excited.  Those five ladies were Raquel Daggett (Current Captain), Treva Sturgis, Karina Smith, Destini Sutton and Taniya Leverette (Still Present).  The others members ventured off to pursue their on path in dance.

The next order of business was to come up with a name.  So, for that entire week we all started throwing out names.  And our current Captain Raquel Daggett said " Dynamic Dancerettes" and everyone agreed.  The original colors were Lime Green, Silver and Royal Blue.  I decided to change the colors and add Dance Team on the end of the name which we are now "Dynamic Dancerettes Dance Team"  and our colors are Lime Green, Silver, and Black. Raquel also coined the phrase for our team "3DDDT4L - Dat's what I say".  And when we are in competition mode we yell 3DT4L....!

We have lost several members but we have gain some very dedicated members and parents.  And no matter what we are still standing strong and moving forward.
